Leadership is much talked about in books, motivational speeches and the like. Faith-based principles generally suggest that the man is to lead his home. Many homes today are led by women while others where there is a husband and wife, there is sometimes a power struggle. It is, therefore, worth looking at the role of the man in the home with regards to leadership.
What are the challenges and implications for the home if the man is not allowed to play his role as leader? Maybe it needs to be established whether the man is aware of his role as leader, and if he is not, how can he start on the journey towards understanding it. In the event that the man misses the leadership boat, what might be the hindrances to him rising to be the leader that God has called him to be, within the home?

Does it have any correlation to the many issues in families centered around men like infidelity, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, overwork, child abuse, abandonment and neglect, as well as the option to get out of marriage for men?
